i redesigned ambir so soon after making him a portrait cus 1. the portrait kinda sucked imo and 2. his design wasnt sitting right cus admittedly i didnt have a clear idea in my head. but i cooked and now i like this a lot better

i need to invest in some traditional tools again cuz every time ive tried to consistently sketch in a notebook my skill and confidence skyrockets with some persistence…

im doing a bit of studies and trying to get more in the groove of casually sketching out scenes and poses again… ive gotten rusty… feels like i lost my grip on proportions and perspective
hopefully i can ult soon and put out some art im super proud of again 😖

I have no interest in moving to another platform because I am tired of ceding digital ground but the change to community guidelines and the punitive abuses against innocent users by the moderators of a frankly insular, large forum sized platform does not inspire morale.

unfortunately surgery is delayed til next year... which means ill have to put up with some pain for a bit longer... but i still want to take a break for a while. so i'll open timed doodle comms soon, and my halloween ychs are already open
