the world cracked me open,/ my yolk still holding strong,/ but my soft, transparent parts/ stretched til they ran over the table./
made to confront my own matter,/ now vulnerable to the whims of open air./ nothing can save me but/ at least i resemble the sun./
my eternal twin staring back at me,/ giving me and life sizzling it away:/ i thank you for the refuge./

there is no undo,/
and i bear the responsibility of exposure./ the lack of protection a freedom and a ruining./ i can't grow here,/ but at least i can leave a mark-/a personal monument to existence.

i still hate that this app tries to encourage building an emotional bond with the bird but at its core it's a dress up game and that is enough for me

yeah that's what i find disturbing too about the lack of investigation. killers seek out vulnerable people, so all those contributing factors are still relevant. it comes off as gaslighting from the officials. esp cuz police have been notoriously bad with handling serial killers

there's a setting to request that your posts aren't shown to logged out users, but technically all posts are public so they can still see your posts through other means. they just can't interact with your posts
