After her career as an engineer with NASA, Poppy became an attorney and turned her focus to the fight for women's rights. She's served on the national board of directors of the National Organization for Women, and worked with the Texas and Houston chapters of NOW.

Poppy was a member of the mission operations team that received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for rescuing Apollo 13, and has been featured in numerous documentaries about the space program.

Today’s CPI report showed that coffee prices are now up 25.9% over the past year, while Cafe Du Monde coffee on Amazon now costs 33% more since January.

This is a direct result of Trump’s extreme tariff agenda that puts taxes on goods we can’t even produce in America.
