hello #portfolioday 📕

im cole, a digital illustrator with a love for bright colors, magic, and storytelling
a digital illustration of teenage chibi usa and hotaru from sailor moon, returning home from gathering berries in a fenced in garden. chibi is wearing a blue pair of overalls and matching pink and blue accessories, while hotaru wears a black dress and outfit. both carry a full basket of strawberries each, while hotaru closes the fence behind them. a black woman with a large textured afro filled with flowers sleeps atop a bright red ox (wearing a necklace of the same flowers). the woman has big pink mouse ears sticking out of her hair, and mouse whiskers on her cheeks. both the ox and woman wear matching nose rings. a fat mermaid with beautiful long green hair is standing halfway out of the water, looking down upon one of her subjects, whose face has become only bone upon breaching the surface as she looks lovingly up at her queen. the remainder of the subjects body remains intact underwater. the larger mermaid wears an intricate horned crown, and holds a similarly designed staff that her subjects clings to as she watches her. a digital illustration of my most beloved oc, luchia, in a big layered yellow dress with a pink backdrop. her mouth is open in excitement as she releases hundreds of small pink hearts from her palms.
