the current admin can bombard the public with all sorts of generative content faster than real creatives can produce it themselves... and I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

Artificial intelligence.

But LLM's... (Large Language Models, your chat gpts, chatbots, groks, and the A.I art generators, I believe) they're fine... I wish they weren't hijacked by corrupt businessmen; you'd think we (progressives/leftists) would take advantage of open sourced LLMs since-

I don't think I ever gave my full stance on A.I.

Personally, I don't hate the tech; (probably my hottest take on BlueSky)

I've always liked A.I. (Blame kid me, watching Star Wars and I Robot), granted we aren't at that point considering most "A.I" you see are just language models than real-

And I suppose so long as profit is there to be made and governments see the potential for creating realistic crime/mass murder/celebrity misinformation videos (and the tech just keeps evolving faster than it can be regulated); this tech will continue to see investment.

Granted... this A.I bubble will pop at some point; however, like the dot com bubble I doubt this tech will go away anytime soon. It always was a Pandora's box and unless all countries were to agree to place heavy regulations on it (good luck with that), it will still be used.

Couldn't sleep, watched a 2H documentary long video on A.I. art (slop if you're against the tech all-together).

Was surprised it only had around 50k views (it's a year old video) as it was one of the most in-depth breakdowns on the subject in my personal opinion.

It's as though we've pissed everyone off with our tariff war, and we lack the domestic infustructure to replace those various sources of minerals, fossil fuels, etc.

So we're going after weaker countries to get their resources, to try and compensate for our leadership's stupidity.
