💧September 2025: Wetter-than-average in northwestern & central Europe, Fennoscandia, parts of Italy, Croatia & eastern Spain, causing flooding in some areas. Drier than average across most of Iberia, the Norwegian coast, much of Italy, the Balkans, parts of Ukraine & western Russia.

❄ September 2025: daily Arctic sea ice extent reached its 14th-lowest annual minimum on record; monthly Arctic extent was 12% below average. Antarctic daily sea ice extent reached its 3rd-lowest annual maximum on record; 4th-lowest monthly extent.

🌡️ The September 2025 #C3S Climate Bulletin reports the third-warmest September globally, with an average surface air temperature of 16.11°C — 1.47°C above estimated pre-industrial levels. Global average sea surface temperature reached 20.72°C, the 3rd-highest on record for September.
