And... the 'worst' projected Week 8 WR/CB matchup chart.

The article will drop in the morning.
I have issues, and I continue to double and triple-check the formulas and recent usage. I noticed some minor errors this evening, which have been adjusted. We added team-level data to hopefully account for the team context.

Updated 'best' Week 8 WR/CB matchups
@rotoballer.com.
-Nehemiah Pritchett played more reps, but Riq Woolen had an LP practice
-Derion Kendrick has been covering the slot for the Seahawks, but their regular slot corner (Devon Witherspoon) logged a full practice
Notable CB changes:
-Storm Duck could return, meaning potentially fewer reps for Rasul Douglas. That might make Jerry Jeudy's matchup a bit more favorable, though there have been weather concerns
-No Charvarius Ward again, insert Johnathan Edwards
-Rashee Rice is back. Data set toward league average until we gather more in Week 7
-CeeDee Lamb is back, but the injury recovery might mean we want to be patient
-If Mike Evans misses, the Bucs will turn to Kameron Johnson
Notable WR changes:
-Puka Nacua out, Jordan Whittington will fill in
-Garrett Wilson is doubtful, Allen Lazard should earn more reps
-Josh Downs is out. The per-route king Adonai Mitchell should garner more routes
-DJ Moore is healthy and ready to roll against the Saints
-Quinshon Judkins
-David Montgomery
-Kenneth Walker III
-Derrick Henry
-J.K. Dobbins
-Kareem Hunt
-Jacory Croskey-Merritt
-Kenneth Gainwell
-Nick Chubb
-Breece Hall
Among the running backs that faced stacked boxes (8+ defenders) 25% of the time or more in 2025, only 10 running backs averaged a positive rush yards over expected per attempt (RYOE/Att).
The Week 6 WR/CB Matchups, Upgrades, and Downgrades are up @rotoballer.com!

“Diggs leads the team with a 27 percent target rate and 3.49 yards per route run in 2025 against Cover 3, making him an ideal candidate to be a target-earning weapon against the Saints.”

Like Julia Michaels' song 'I've Got Issues,' here's a look at the way-too-early WR/CB Matchups for Week 5 @rotoballer.com. Will update tomorrow when we get the MNF data.

"Best" projected matchups below. Losing Tyreek Hill is big. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine ran a decent chunk of routes in Week 4.
I wrote up five more matchups to monitor heading into Week 4 at my Substack. It includes the Lions' OL against the Browns' DL, the Buccaneers' DL pressuring the quarterback, and the Commanders' bringing a high rate of pressure against the Falcons.
