All done now Garganey on west scrape Barnacle Goose with main flock 4+Stonechat 9Egyptian Geese report of Dunlin. Skylarks continuing through overhead and small flock of Siskin by feeders
Much the same as yesterday at #middletonlakes but the floods have gone female Marsh Harrier still on NPit Ruff and Redshank on Jubilee 6Skylark over and 4Mipit Only at Lookout so maybe more
Warm damp morning at #middletonlskes brightened by first (for me) Redwing of the autumn plus a flick of 70+ Golden Plover which circled Jubilee for 10 - 15 minutes but did not land Also Ruff Stonechats and a big flick of Redpoll
Schitzophobic weather at #middletonlakes this morning with sun and cold mists alternating. Quiet except for one mad minute when with Marsh Harrier Buzzard Kestrel and Hobby one after the other also 4GWE Green Sand 2Goosander Kingfisher and 9Siskin Sparrowhawk and Barn Owl
There were a lot of them in the Southern Meadow at Middleton Lakes this morning, I had 5 along the track in the meadow and others on the bund. So good to see as I didn’t get any last year on the reserve

Another wet day at #middletonlakes 6Green Sand 4GWE 2Common Sand 8Common Tern 12LRP but NO Avocet 1Blackwit + plethora of hirundines and Swifts and young warblers everywhere Water levels well up on Jubilee but both scrapes and Canal Pool have plenty of exposed mud.
