Funny, wasn't Chris Murphy (my senator) that voted to pass the NDAA, even though it was chock full anti-trans amendments, several that impact me directly.

If anything, people should be against AI simply for the amount of energy that's needed to run it. So much power is being dumped into these data centers so people can run stupid/lazy AI queries. And that equates into higher demand for electricity, which means higher prices for everyone.

I have no words to say about Mr. Kirk.

What does concern me are the people that see his death as a rallying cry to commit violence against the LGBT+ community, and liberals in general.

Some of the comment sections are already dripping with murderous rage.

The democrats have already shown us that we are expendable. If it's a shut down or transgender people, they will shove us under the bus in order to maintain the air of "democrats didn't shut down the country and cause an economic meltdown". That's just how the democratic leadership works.

The democratic leadership is stuck in the past, stuck in the status quo, stuck in the “gotta catch em all” mindset. That doesn’t work. With a base of 35%, Trump has all 3 branches of government. Stop trying to appease the fascists, authoritarians and the racists. Come back to your base.

Sometimes I can get into that headspace and spend a good chunk of time just coding and building. But even at the end of that creative time, I still hear the words of my nemesis somewhere in my head.

The struggle is real.

Being creative can be such a struggle. Often, it’s a hard fight to just sit down and get into the right head space for the magic to happen. Battling the notion of “why am I even doing this? Nobody wants my garbage” is consistently my biggest nemesis.

I hate that, at the moment, the two potential presidential candidates are some Trump wanna-be and Newsom. Evil and lesser evil. Thankfully, we have plenty of time for the field to manifest for potential candidates on both sides. Of course, that is, if there are even elections in 2026-2028.
