The chain of lakes trip was beautiful.
On Minnehaha Creek, I saw a deer, then her fawn, then another fawn.
Also ran into my brother and nephew on the creek.
Then saw the still-roaringfalls, and finished with a #RideTheRiver

World Series teams have great bullpens since at least the 2015 Royals, so trading controllable bullpen guys isn’t a thing done by teams looking to compete in the near future.
Traded Correa for salary relief, but still paying him.
Twins are bottom 1/3 in payroll.
But 25% of playoff teams are lower.

I love the stadium!
I feel the frustration of fans of a team that mostly didn’t invest in its roster for two years, then traded away 40% of its roster at the deadline for mainly salary relief.
But I’m a Yankees fan, so I’m not as programmed for these things.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.

He was released last Thursday after a confession from the key witness in the case against him. (Only Chalaka Young’s fingerprints were on the tape that wrapped up the victim, but she testified against Hooper.)
