After they’ve been together awhile and he’s settled into a more domestic lifestyle, he’s doting on Courage. He makes her tea and a soup recipe he got from her mom, then lays beside her & reads while she snuggles into his side and sleeps. He has Dal come check on her a few times.

This is my 4th play through. All with Courage. Same choices every time. I’ve beaten the game twice. My second Courage run I only had the brain left when mods became available and I wanted to make her look closer to my dnd character.

This happened in my first playthrough. Courage died in the fight w/ lorroakan and Withers revived her. When Astarion went to him, he got the “bosom companion” lecture. He was like “NOW!?” Later, he was emotional, realizing how much she meant to him. She cheers him up. Scene below.

Courage starts as a combo of The Dancer and the Flirt. She’s a little horny, but THIS IS HER SONG, so that can wait. Her stutter eases up at first and she gets really relaxed and fun. Absolute life of the party. There’s a drunk threshold though where her stutter worsens, so it’s gone to go

Courage loves to tell other people’s stories, so she would downplay her role and elevate the companions, focusing on all the hardships they overcame. If pressed, she’d says she was just trying to help and stay alive, as though she was along for the ride rather than the leader.

(2/2) Courage’s stomach was full of butterflies the whole time, and her stammer was out of control, but Niv was sweet and silly and put Courage at ease. Niv leaned in for the kiss, and to this day, the song that burst into Courage’s mind at the touch is still one of her favorites.
