Though I feel like I DO remember them mentioning that there are Hunters with special powers, which annoyed me, because it was like, "There are some really cool and powerful hunters out there." And I was like, "...AND??" but that was it, they were just like, "Nah, you just a normal guy and/or gal."

To be fair, not much was mentioned in this edition of Hunter... Not to be too critical, but it really felt closer to the revised "Mortals" supplement book than a full core book. They didn't even Numina powers.
