Finally.. You can see where I forgot to erase part of the logo PNG. This little bit shows up on all of these "bluer" EWJ backgrounds, including my original.

Anyway, I'm not claiming ownership (it's just slightly bluer artwork obviously) just think it's funny to see. Hope this was entertaining 😅

This is the blue image, also note the darker ridges along the top and corners that make it into the Earthworm Jim image. You can also see how I used it in a few different similar thumbnails. It's not GOOD and I'm not PROUD of it, but I did make it long ago lol

This is the original artwork, more yellow, less blue. Basically, I had a blue image overlay I used a lot for many different thumbnails, that had a clear center to make things pop. You can tell, because the background is also less blue in the center, not just Jim... 👇

I'm obviously not claiming this artwork is mine, all I did was blue it up and slap the logo on for a YouTube thumbnail many years ago, I just think it's funny how it's seemed to make it's way around the internet, being shared as official wallpaper or other thumbnails. Oh, I can prove it too! 👇

So, here's a wild story. I randomly came across an image I altered years ago showing up in image searches. You may see this specific image pop up in searches relating to "Earthworm Jim background" or "wallpaper", that's more blue than the original.. yeah I'm the one who made it blue 😅 👇

And it's still one of my favorite games to this day - definitely my favorite 3D Platformer. When I think of the N64, I usually think of Banjo-Kazooie 🐻🐦

I remember "finishing" the game, seeing the mention of Shark Island and always being vexed by the Ice Key that I had to play more. I got every Jiggy, explored every nook, and eventually did get the Ice Key, find the eggs, etc. It was probably the first time I felt like a game over-delivered...

I owned Diddy Kong Racing and I played as Banjo leading up to Banjo-Kazooie's release just to feel more connected to the game.
I finally bought the game at release and I wasn't disappointed. It was such a great game from beginning to end, and still is. There was so much to explore and find...

I was obsessed with Banjo-Kazooie before it was even released. Back then, I had Nintendo Power and would read about it over and over. I was obsessed with big open worlds back then so I would be amazed by the screenshots and promises of all the huge worlds...

My goal for Mariana Sequence is to invoke that 90's feel of gaming comradery, when a friend or schoolmate would share something about a game you didn't know, and you'd be amazed when it did actually work.

Mariana Sequence will be an exceptionally difficult game to "finish" without working together.

Mawthorne 1 Reborn is in the testing phase, so it's back to devving on The Mariana Sequence! The replayability on the final game is going to be wild and possibly destroy my brain trying to put it all together 🤕
