Ractonite is the forever DM for some Lego minifigure lesbians.
My fossilizers have arrived. Two of them anyway. They have no show or comic to define their personality so the task falls to me.

Wingfinger (left) admires Cybertronian Ninjutsu, but refuses to seek training as he is a skeleton and a devout Methodist.

Ractonite (right) desperately wants real hands.
Yeah huge fan of it. Just finished the story last night. Excited to dive into more missions and ranked.
Sentinel Prime though deserves his own post. He’s amazing. He’s the worst. I love him. Kind of wish we got to see him go full villain, but I love what we got and am thankful that he paved the way for even more peak dickweed with TFOne Sentinel Prime.
Some shorter shoutouts:

This is the best Swindle. Not a very controversial opinion.

Lockdown is a great side villain. Bounty hunters are so cool.

This Ultra Magnus is neat, though he doesn’t feel very Ultra Magnus.

This version of Jazz slaps.

Wasp is great but BW Waspinator still the goat.
The designs for Grimlock, Swoop, and Sla- I mean Snarl are great though. Designs in general in this show are peak. Do wish we got some personality from Swoop and Snarl tho.
My boys the Dinobots are also here. Not my favorite Grimlock, tbh. Weirdly enough he feels like the character they experimented with the least: he’s mostly just early Sunbow Grimlock, with the only major addition being that he gets horny for Blackarachnia.
The Decepticons are similarly unique and great in this show. Megatron has a lot of menace to him. He feels like a huge threat, fitting for a less powerful Optimus. Starscream is Starscream, but has his moments, and I adore Lugnut and Blitzwing. And I always love a version of Blackarachnia.
Not my favorite Bumblebee though. He’s kind of got that 2000s cartoon annoying idiot archetype, but unlike a Beast Boy he doesn’t have as many redeeming qualities to off set it. He especially could have benefitted from a fourth season.
Special shoutout to Optimus, Prowl, and Ratchet. Optimus is very different and engaging in this show, being younger and less experienced than usual. It’s fun. This is the first version of Prowl I’ve liked period. And Ratchet as a curmudgeonly old bot is a delight. Also love Bulkhead.
Finished watching transformers animated with the homies last night. Overall extremely good show, though a fourth season would have been nice to tie up some things. Sari is up there with Spike and the Maltos for great human characters, and the Autobots are refreshingly different.
I do wish abilities were in the game, but otherwise the gameplay has me smiling so much. This feels like the Pokemon game I imagined as a kid when watching the anime. There’s something immersive about actually running around with your mom, dodging moves and timing shit and using terrain.
Legends Arceus was incredible in almost every way, but I found the battling to be generally lacking.

Legends ZA brings over most of the good from Legends Arcreus, and has a genuinely amazing battle system. Shits hype.
Finally, Flamewar!

I have no idea on Flamewar. She’s from the comics I think. Have watched Sunbow, Beast Wars, Earthspark, and now most of the way through Animated, and none of them have Flamewar.

She looks cool, and I guess none of the other iconic Decepticon ladies are in Shattered Glass.
Now for the weirdos.

Slicer is not in the Sunbow cartoon. Pretty sure his G1 toy was an Action Master. Most transformers fans are unlikely to be familiar with this guy, though they would clock him as a Wheeljack recolor. He might be hear just for the SH tie-in… but SG Slicer is Wheeljack. Weird.
Saved Goldbug for the last set of these as he’s technically a Season 3 (4?) character. Effect is simple but flavorful, fitting Bee’s role as the kid appeal Autobot with the human friend. Do have to dock points though for the art pairing Goldbug with teen Spike. Spike should be a grown ass man here.
Also while I’m here, shoutout to Cyclonus, Cybertronian Fighter. They picked the one transformer in the set that wasn’t even born on Cybertron.
Cyclonus might be one of the worst adaptations out of these cards. Cyclonus is among the more well defined characters in G1, being loyal to the death to Galvatron, as well as having a strange sense of honor for a Decepticon. This card meanwhile could have been basically any Seeker. Art’s nice.
Arcee is our second movie character, and she’s okay. She plays well with the others, though she doesn’t feel especially Arcee. Not sure what that entails though. G1 Arcee doesn’t really have much there yet. Love her in Earthspark. watch Earthspark.
Love Ultra Magnus. I like that he brings in more dudes bringing to mind his cat carrying alt mode, though I don’t know why vehicles aren’t included. Or why it’s the front side. Have thought about making a commander deck with him. He can’t handle this right now.
The only other season 2 transformer, Blaster is a fine choice. His abilities are cool, supporting his fellow Autobots. Actually playing this card as a commander might present difficulties. Modular is great, but he resists getting counters himself, making it harder to win off commander damage.
Ooo, a Triple Changer. Would have preferred Astrotrain or Octane, but Blitzwing is cool.

The random aspect of the card weirdly captures the personality swapping aspect of the character that crops up after G1. Cards fine, but not the most exciting.
Anyway did yall know there is an alchemy exclusive Tiana? Huge fan of the original. This one looks a little funny, looks a lot thinner than the old Tiana to me but might just be the art style. Anyway the effect is neat enough, though I’m always iffy on alchemy cards, especially the perpetual stuff.
