I love doing sketches, if I could I would only post sketches, so they shouldn't make things overwhelming.

The lineart is the thing that takes me the most time to draw, that's my main reason to delay things

Yeah, I'm trying to do that right now, I worded really bad the question xD.

I meant to ask if I should do the sketches of every commission on the list -> and then start working on batches of 3.

It's mainly so people have something done instead of waiting months for anything.

Would it be better to sketch all commissions and then go finishing them in batches of 3...
or keep making people wait months before I can start their commission?

Right now I work on 3 at a time, but it's taking me longer to finish just one 🥀

Oh how naive I am.

Of course 3 weeks of intense studying would left me exhausted.
My plan is ruined, I was going to work on at least 2 comms a day, but so far I can only manage 1.

Damn, clip studio paint is greedy. I have version 2.0, but on 2.1 you can see the time you spent on a drawing...
but you can't upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 anymore, so you have to upgrade to 3.0 just to see the time.

Why tho???

Maybe that's why I get so obsesed with it?
That someone paid for it, trusting me, and now I feel like I've failed them...

Or maybe I should sleep more, I've been sleeping like 4 hours a day.

I have a weird ocd moment when I see my old art from 2024, I think it looks bad and that I have to remake it.

It's not the worst art I've done, but it just doesn't leave my mind.

The issue with remaking them, they are comms 🥀
(it would feel unfair if I redraw those and not others)

Oooooh, those things make too much sense. Most times I've drawn the character pose first and then think what the TF is.

I've done TF first with goo / masks triggers, and the coloring feels right.

I'll try that aproach and I'll be back with the results 🐀

Little spoiler for something and lore for her. I liked the idea of her having magic but being oblivious to it, might be because she's a mix of a black and grey cat, idk.

Welp, she has to fill a lot of stores in the mall, so she might be hiring soon---ish :3

I've always wondered how people color so well the mid TF part.

My guess is blending colors? But that always looks bad when I try to do it 😭

Yeah, but when I see someone that I think undercharges I added an extra tip for them on my list / excel.

I also have my eye on your art too : P
