These adorable hand knit Scandinavian Folk Dolls were lovingly made by Judith Lasch for her daughter Callie as a memento of a trip they shared to several Scandinavian countries. Dolls "Sven" & "Helga" were named in honor of Callie's father and grandmother.

Today's prompt is #intergenerational, and this piece from the #CKCCommunityCollection is an perfect example of that! This linen, collected in 1889 from their family's covered wagon, was passed down each generation since. When it reached #CKCMember, Gwen, she knew she had to preserve this treasure.
In crafting, there are many scraps and #waste, but also endless, creative ways to reuse those scraps! This #quilt is a great example of salvaged #waste!
