It's the time of year when the bad idea of feeding #pumpkins to wildlife resurfaces. Feeding causes unnatural crowding, human-animal conflicts, spreads disease, and makes #wildlife vulnerable to predators like outdoor cats. Please compost pumpkins instead. 🎃

Feral cats don't control rats. Feral cats are not rat-specific and will gladly eat #wildlife like birds, reptiles, mammals, and amphibians. These "working cat" programs fuel #biodiversity loss and won't solve the rat problem.
