The ECC Board is actively engaging with our regional representatives to better understand proposed changes and to identify opportunities for all curlers to compete. We are also deepening our connections with the Portland area LGBTQIA+ community, including hosting a Pride Learn-to-Curl this April.

Regardless of national or international policy changes, Evergreen Curling Club leagues and bonspiels will continue to welcome all curlers, regardless of gender identity. We will continue to uphold the inclusive participation standards our club has long embraced.

No change in federal policy is going to change who we are. Our values, our hearts, and the soul of the club is not up for debate. When you walk through our front door, you are a curler, and that is all that matters to us

Last month USA Curling informed member clubs that it will be revising its Transgender Participation Policy in response to guidance from the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

It was an open 5U event with Men's, Women's and Mixed teams. C Bracket Runner up Skip-It is women's team from Sillicon Valley.
