It's a simple but important realisation that the administration's claims that danger justifies their action, never plausible to begin with, fall apart real quick when ICE thugs face off against protesters dressed up in an inflatable costume.

Nobody likes seeing Winnie-the-Pooh get brutalised.

The president got his feelings hurt, so we're doing 10% more tariffs on Canada. Joke of an administration.
These are statistical trends, not firm rules. There's no reason people should stick to the diets their ancestors had, nor generally do people understand their ancestry as well as they think they do.
Going outside and being hit with the sun can give you cancer.

Not every concern is strong enough to even be worth thinking about, and literally anything humans might eat will have *some* concerns associated with it.
A Newsom + Michelle Wu or Shontel Brown ticket would be pretty exciting.
Seed oils are healthy and have been around for a very long time. You're pushing nonsense.
Seed oils are not unhealthy; you're pushing misinformation.
They're not toxic. You're misinformed.
We're one species. Different ethnicities don't generally have different nutritional needs, and ethnicities have continually mixed (and are mixing faster because of globalisation) making the ethnicities that existed 5 thousand years ago effectively not exist today.
Or perhaps it's progressives cutting off their nose to spite their face by running candidates that will lose the center-left and have little chance to capture the true center.
(I also like Keisha Lance Bottoms and Shontel Brown)
Wondering if a presidential ticket between Gavin Newsom and Michelle Wu might be in the future. Might be a strong ticket.
Increasingly impressed with Gavin Newsom's on-point messaging.
I will never vote for anyone DSA-affiliated, and often don't vote for progressives. I donate to liberals (my faction - center-left technocrats) in primaries against progressives.

I voted for Harris, enthusiastically voted for Obama.
There are various parts of the left, and I see it as useful to have terms for the parts. Other people find it useful too.
FWIW, I am center-left and I also support public transit and socialised healthcare. Those particular policy stances are not limited to progressives.
I don't know if there are any never-trumpers left in legislature; there are Republicans in other levels of government who are not on board with him who are mostly keeping their head down and hoping to survive until his movement weakens.

There are never-Trump orgs like Bulwark and Lincoln Project.
Royals are either useless people or hazardous people, in any nation.
It's important to note that this time of political crisis in the country isn't something where the party in minority has a lot of power that it's not using. Being in the minority means you don't have power. If you complain Dems are sitting on their hands, think about what exactly you'd have them do.
I get that it's fun to ask that "how's that going for you", but it's one of those things that only sounds good to people who come from politics quite near the speaker's politics.

I pick my politics because I like the policies and direction for society, not that I vouch for every center-left pol.
I don't see the Trump movement as center-right, nor do I pick my politics out of worries others might misunderstand them.

I reject progressive policies because I think they're bad policies. I think center-left policies are better.
People who don't believe in something as foundational as germ theory, no surprise, have a lot of dumb beliefs.
I don't know of books, but quite a lot of fairly in-depth youtube videos.
