👍 I also enjoy using purple for shading cooler skintones and green. Also works a treat on Orc skin. Royal Purple is always a treat.

That looks great! Good contrast, great glow effect on the legs. Takes me right back to the Super Famicom Mech warrior game. At least I think it was this type of mech in it.

This is the leader of my Necropolis28 gathering - Nikolai von Falkov. I am especially pleased how the wilted roses and vampiric skin turned out. Overall a really cool Borsi sculpt by Westfalia and great opportunity to work with a cold colour palette.

I agree, the colour scheme works well, but it lacks a focal point and contrast. Could well be the lighting. I think desaturated colours are fine, but you still need more contrast to guide the eye to the areas you want to emphasise.

To be fair, that was one of the first sets Vampires in Panshaw. I chanceled after the first year, just too much backlog and all the archetypes were already covered. The coffin is scratch built.

Finally found some time to start on the skin of my Vampire Spawn. Miniatures are 3d-prints by Loot Studios. I established the base colours via airbrush and now introduced dark blues, violets and greens as well as magenta. #wargaming #miniaturepainting #vampire #warhammer
