I’d forget if I didn’t have reminders/notifications for literally anything. Old and forgetful. I even have my Google Calendar set to remind me every 3 months to change the filter on the furnace, spray rose bushes, when I need to go into the office etc...

I’m close to needing a reminder to sleep

I do Auto-pay for everything but I also set them all up to receive notification of upcoming payment and payment. So I will check those notifications each month to make sure all is good.

I think in this case, racism is the prevailing ideology when it comes to the gun lobby. The NRA has always been racist, dating back to working with Reagan in CA on gun laws to prevent the Black Panthers from open carrying

Marijuana is a black drug to them and they don’t want black gun ownership

Very murky. Im interpreting this a plan to create a way to shift the tax burden to the state. They assume Trump’s IRS would go after the person(s) as their way of leveraging people to force the release of tax money.

Like you said, it would be a good possibility, but there’s a lot of murkiness

I just signed up for 3 months free of Apple Music and moved my playlists over. It’s the same evil but the point is to hit Spotify in their subscriptions to let them know that this is bullshit

Wasn’t the point of the article, & again I’m not sure how they’d implement this, that the people would have their Federal Taxes taken out, but it is the state who is then collecting those taxes. Thus placing the burden of law on the states?

Kinda like how the CRA collects taxes on Ontario’s behalf?

They won’t but it will start or focus on Marijuana and crack so that they can go after brown skinned people. Probably an exemption for Heroin, Cocaine, Ketamine, and Meth. Commonly used drugs by this administration and their cult followers

100%! I used to be against States rights because Republicans were in favor of them that I didn’t trust the concept. After seeing how easy it was for the Fed Govt to seize complete control & make states powerless, I came to realize that putting all the power at the state level could’ve prevented this

That’s the point. States are involved but the article talks about states getting involved. What the article doesn’t explain is HOW states would be able to direct Federal Taxes into a state Escrow acct. I have no idea how they could do that

I think the point of the article is to challenge the legal system in the same way Trump is and then let it play out in the courts. You could then drag it out in the courts as Trump has done, even if illegal. While dragging it out you’re withholding the main power that Trump has, Federal Funds.
