I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

The GOP-led chamber approved the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 70-20, which funds the U.S. military at $924.7 billion in fiscal year 2026.

Sadly, we can’t afford to provide healthcare for our people, like all other democracies can some how do. We are so lost.

Trump said that he spoke to the president of Puerto Rico, which means he spoke to someone who does not exist on a US territory whose people are US citizens. I guess Trump has been talking to himself again.

This is how far gone the Republican Party is. Trump addressed 800 military generals and admirers about his stationery and how he, Biden, and Obama walked down stairs. All Republicans should be voted against.

I’m obviously not an expert in this area, but ordering several hundred senior US military officers from around the world to gather in one place and then announcing the location seems a bit daft. But not to worry. I’m sure Hegseth knows what he’s doing. After all, he was a presenter on Fox News.
