It really is simple. Stephen Yaxley Lennon isn't a political prisoner, he's a racist with criminal convictions who is only interested in himself, not the UK.

Well, this is awkward for Reform…

More questions to answer about Nathan Gill and Russia?

How do people think they can be free speech warriors, yet want people fired for speaking their mind?
damianlow3.bsky.social
Gary Neville said let’s“get back to a country of love, peace and harmony"

What does anyone object to about that?

How to lose friends and alienate people
damianlow3.bsky.social
Incredible how all the commentators are jumping on Gary Neville, yet they had no questions about how Farage paid for his Clacton house or Gill’s links to Russia.

Almost like they can only process the bits of the truth they like…

Stephen Yaxley Lennon.

Convicted for…
- assaulting an officer in 2005
- assault at a neo-Nazi rally in 2011
- football hooliganism in 2011
- using a false passport in 2013
- mortgage fraud in 2014
- contempt of court in 2019
- stalking a woman in 2021
- libel in 2024

What a patriot.

An appreciation post for Maia Sandu.

Stands up for democracy and stood up to Moscow. The more leaders like her, the stronger Europe will be.

Whatever people think, Rachel Reeves is right when she says this.

The greatest threat to working people’s way of life is Nigel Farage and Reform. When Labour delivers an upgrade to workers’ rights, Reform try to block it. When Labour stands with allies, Reform sides with Putin.

Trying to catch Starmer out on buying a field when there were hardly any questions about Farage’s Clacton house is quite the irony

Reform UK's former leader in Wales has admitted taking bribes to make statements in favour of Russia while being a Member of the European Parliament.

Yet this is the party of patriotism apparently?

Respect Ange for showing working class people can make it in politics and inspiring many
damianlow3.bsky.social
Stunning to see so many people praising Farage for flying to another country to attack his own country.
damianlow3.bsky.social
Increased instances of this is partly a result of Farage and divisive media rhetoric. Division benefits their narrative.

The irony is the nurse has contributed far more to society through her work than these two ever will.

Interesting polling from More in Common on Lucy Connolly

More than half think sentence was too lenient or about right. Only a third it was too harsh. Only 18% think politicians should associate themselves her, 51% think they should distance themselves from her

Lessons for Reform and Conservatives?
damianlow3.bsky.social
So Reform, the so called champions of free speech, on the back of their Nottingham Live ban debacle now say they would consider banning “any other media outlet” which they “consider to be consistently misrepresenting” them.

Is that democracy? Free speech works both ways.
damianlow3.bsky.social
Now is the time for Labour to take on Farage, before the media narrative becomes too hard to reverse.

Brexit has cost the UK 4% of GDP, his Net Zero scrapping is unworkable, his deportation plans unfeasible and his economics a fantasy.

Obvious targets - they need to use them.
damianlow3.bsky.social
When will the media realise that just because Farage says something is an emergency, it doesn’t mean it’s the gospel truth and needs to be covered like that.
damianlow3.bsky.social
Why are people wilfully pushing misinformation that the government sentence and lock people up - we don’t have political prisoners and we should be glad about it.

They should look at countries where governments do lock people up and feel glad the UK isn’t like that.
damianlow3.bsky.social
This encapsulates one of the biggest challenges Labour faces. It’s not their policy, it’s disastrous Conservative policy that Labour are trying to fix.

Would the headline be the same if Labour had been in power for the previous 14 years and the Conservatives for one?
damianlow3.bsky.social
Reform UK’s home shirt is made in Britain. Most of its other merchandise is not.

For a party that wants to repatriate supply chains, this is an oddly export-oriented wardrobe.
damianlow3.bsky.social
Incredible you have idiotic, despicable people like this in 2025.

Bravo Semenyo - show them up with your talent!
damianlow3.bsky.social
Farage warns Britain’s "lawless” and "near collapse”. Meanwhile violent crime halved, robberies down 60%, burglary down two-thirds, air and water cleaner, road deaths and killer diseases halved.

Britain has positives, the govt need to show it Farage's arguments falling apart.

Reading X, you’d think no asylum hotels existed until Labour came to power last year

Numbers in asylum hotels have fallen since 2024. There’s more to do, but the hypocrisy of some like Jenrick who could’ve addressed this is an astounding combination of hypocrisy and opportunism

By 2030 it is estimated Brexit is likely to have cost the UK around £1,000 billion in aggregate lost GDP based on analysis of sources including OBR, NIESR, LSE, and Rabobank.

Would you trust Farage with the economy when he championed an act of such economic self harm?
