This is a fantastic LP of him riding the new wave of Digital productions in the mid 80's- while the other rootsmen were all bemoaning ( kind of rightly sometimes ) the end of analog and plugging in direct he got on and made everyone see it was just as soulful www.discogs.com/master/45753...

Yeah, my mom still uses the powder but I could never get the consistency right myself. Maybe it’s the 30 mins. I think it’s the xanthan gum that makes it stand up compared to the watery ones.

Agreed. M&S one is not a patch on Colmans. Might give this Stokes fella a try but Colmans has been doing such a decent job all my life I can't see changing at this point. Is xanthan gum so bad in small doses?
