I don’t think the incredible job that Bill Belichick did as an assistant coach (specifically with the Giants, Patriots, Jets) or as New England’s head coach for nearly two decades can be questioned. Maybe not perfect but an A+ job.

Being bizarre at 73 doesn’t change that for me.

The Seattle Mariners franchise began in 1977. They have yet to win a World Series.

The Detroit Tigers last won a World Series in 1984. It is their only World Series title since man walked on the moon.

I’ll be happy for either of these franchises.

What a start to the season for the Boston Bruins and a great coaching debut for Marco Sturm. David Pastrnak and Jeremy Swayman both played incredible. Fourth line was very impressive. Nice work, boys! #NHLBruins

As I’ve stated before, once the Red Sox got eliminated from the playoffs I root for the teams with the longest championship droughts. That means, as of now, I am pulling for an MLB final four of:

ALCS: Blue Jays vs. Mariners
NLCS: Brewers vs. Phillies

I scouted Drake Maye a ton before the 2024 NFL Draft and ranked him No. 1 overall. One interesting thing I noted was how good he was throwing while rolling out to his left. Last night he consistently rolled right and was awesome. The best is still ahead.

College Basketball 🏀 definitely used to be better, as evidenced by this 1991 All-American roster. Top 25 players in the country. There are no freshmen and only two sophomores (Kenny Anderson and Shaq). Made the NBA Draft better too since more players were ready to come in and play.
