I am pretty much in rejection of the idea of 'thingness' at all, but I still have to use the language of things in spite of this. Hence why I will say 'I' even when the thingness of it is illusory to 'me'.

I used to be a lot more stagnant, but I'm changing now that i have friends and teachers to help me.

I think I'm doing pretty good with that. Thusfar I'm not arriving at a point where anything feels like I'm just going through the motions, or where nothing inspires new meditations. There's so much more to learn, after all.

I mean I'm not a monk, but i am a practitioner. I try to employ the ideas in my daily life, and I perform the usual rituals. I live in a buddhist household, so it's a bit easier.

I didnt mean to sound like i was calling Sade a philosopher. The notion of that is very funny though. It's just that he was an influence on me. I found his perspective on life to be interesting, and it gave me a lot to think about.

Yes. I actually used to be a daoist until I discovered zen buddhism. My partner and I have been greatly helped by both schools of thought. I used Laozi's and Zhuangzi's writings to give my partner comfort when she was feeling distressed for years.

I know very little about you, but I see you as a philosopher of a sort. My influences are are people like Marquis de Sade, Max Stirner, Nietzsche, Bataille, Wittgenstein, and Deleuze among others, and I sensed something of them from you.

I used to use these cans as my water bottles on the daily until i got a proper glass bottle to use. It was okay, but i had to wipe off the aluminum dust around the cap often.

Yes. It's also worth noting that most transphobes will simply double down and say trans people shouldnt be allowed to exist. They don't care if it's natural or not, they just wanted ammunition to use. Regardless, it's still a very helpful resource to have for those who are seeking to learn.

I think hard SF is fun because of the way it indulges in the workdbuilding. It definitely takes real skill to make those science fiction ideas serve to reinforce the narrative themes and the emotions of the characters though. I really loved Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita for its handling of that.
