Sometimes I think that if I get dementia when I am old, or even if I don't but am just really old, that I will think I actually travelled all these London streets in real life. Sometimes when we travel, all we're left with are snapshots and moments of place and a feeling it gave us.

Another delight. Actually I've seen quite a few of these stonework structures within post-war estates. And I really love them - modernist follies. But this is the first one I've seen with tubes.

Before using my map tracking system, I was trying to just remember which streets I had covered. But somewhere between Mudshoot Farm and Millwall Outer Dock, my brain couldn't do it anymore! Now I can't imagine this project without my precious maps.

Great video London's boroughs by @jayforeman.bsky.social. I organize my mapping by borough. I initially did not, so only covered part of Southwark & Greenwich (I will return), before I got serious with mapping due to the confusion of streets in the Isle of Dogs.

Continuing along on my Rob's London #BatterseaPowerStation references project, watched the #BBC's QED - A Guide to Armageddon (1982). A doc that tells you how to survive nuclear war, making the point that it's really fucking hard/impossible so just disarm already.
