They are proud to be barbarians who negotiate in bad faith.

Wait a minute, I thought Germany’s Nazis fled to the Moon!

This creep has all the qualities to go far in the Trump administration.

Are you that naive, Marjorie?

Miller has been proved wrong on points of law many times before.

One of the things Trump has demonstrated is that ‘convention’ relied upon in the past to govern presidential behaviour can be trampled upon and disregarded too easily. As you have said, convention now needs to be replaced with laws to prevent this happening so easily again.

An early investment in Trump’s Riviera of the Middle East. Hope it’s not a down payment in blood.

That’s very appealing. However, he has damaged the US so badly that the massive repair job (along with strengthening of checks and balances to prevent a similar abuse of power again) will require much analysis of where things went wrong under his ‘leadership’ to ensure the lesson is learnt.

Everyone knows Murican is not the same as English!

In Trump’s ignorance, he has believed all along that the President has the powers of a king. And now he is insisting that reality conform with his belief.

The Grim Reaper: I see more strokes for you ahead, Mr Trump.

They told him he was due for his annual visit and he acquiesced, not remembering his annual visit in April.

As grossly flawed as he is, enough judges on the SCOTUS saw him as an opportune vehicle with which to usher in their ultra-conservative agenda. Obsessed with their objective, they did not realise that, given the opportunity, the monster they unleashed would have no qualms about destroying them.

A performance-based package where the goals are only suggestions? Would that we all could enjoy remuneration-based targets that are optional!

Keep fighting the good fight.

No need. Your point stands as it is worded. Even hating half of the people should disqualify him from office. The fact that he hates just about everyone (including his MAGA supporters) just adds to your argument.
dargster.bsky.social
I think he hates pretty much all the people all of the time. Except for those who give him money and trinkets of value.

I see. So they’re going to murder everyone who they declare to be a member of antifa? How convenient.

No need to apologise. I understand now. It remains to be seen if the US military remains loyal to the Constitution or to the President. If they are loyal to the President then your scenario might very well occur.

Your posts were delivered in reverse order, so I now understand the scenario you have illustrated, which is based on parallels in Nazi Germany. It looks plausible, but I would hope the American regime has much less public support than Hitler’s did during the 1930s.

I’m afraid I don’t understand your reply. My post made no reference to concentration camps, either in the US now or in historical Germany.

Is it raining outside and she’s still standing on her principles, just to make a point?
