Which is why I my reply to Copilot so often is “can I have that with a side of citations?”
What do I want Copilot to remember in it’s memory of me?
*Always respond with citations.*
How can I “Check for accuracy” if you don’t provide the references for where you generated your answer from?
…let’s see how well Copilot remembers this about me.
This is the difference.
Dark mode. Looks cool but not as easy to see the content I am demoing.

Light mode. Classic, but not cool. However, it’s far easier to see the content I am demonstrating.

Now imagine the two demos in a room.
I think dark mode is great for personal use. But for visibility in demos and recordings, the contrast of elements and content varies from app to app.
Even these common like cherubs look gorgeous with composition and foliage like this.
Please use the light theme in demo and training videos when the light sources from your audience’s environment are unknown. (That’s all the time. Pretty much.)
When the speaker rises to reveal the controls, is that a gimmick or is it functionally helpful?
I will set a Focus mode to turn off notifications when I’m taking notes and journaling.
The reMarkable is remarkable. But too pricey for me to justify the narrow capabilities and dependency on consumable pen tips.
After using a device focused on writing, I did miss that this expensive device couldn’t do more. For similar money I can get an iPad Mini 7. That’s what I’m going to do. Add Paperlike and the Pencil Pro. Then I can use any iOS app like Goodnotes, OneNote, Concepts.
I’m returning the Remarkable Paper Pro Move. It was a good portable size. The e-ink was amazing. The battery life, impressive. The writing experience felt similar to paper. Too similar. I didn’t like that the pen tips wear out quickly. This made it dependent on new tips —consumables.
What is an Office Agent and how could it help us vibe-work? Microsoft prompts a picture of how they think we will create documents in the future.

Directory of agents. Seriously. Think of all the things you could do with the spare time while agents work for your boss… I mean you.

It’s where I do my best work. Temporarily of course.
Who remembers the Logitech feel mouse from early 2000’s? I had one and the haptic feedback was way ahead of its time. Buttons had different feedback. Drag and drop offered textures that felt like you were dragging something. It was highly configurable. Then suddenly dropped off the product line up.
I vibe-text my replies sometimes and let autocorrect choice my words for me. It can makes for some interest conversions. Sometimes it makes no senses at all. Other times autocowreck makes up storied that you can almost read, if you imagine your grandma typing the message.
It’s Frodo Potter and Stranger Thingo Yankovic
Always wonderful to bump into my old friend Daniel Radcliffe!
Hot take: The iPhone 17 Pro performed much cooler in the LinkedIn hot-take test. It’s new vapour chamber keeps your phone much cooler when running the LinkedIn mobile app. Compared to the 16 Pro’s white hot 35.3°.
When an AI futurist says something like” what would you do if you didn’t have to work?” it sounds like nails scraping down the chalkboard to me. I don’t think the companies controlling AI are interested in equal distribution of wealth so that WE don’t have to work.
It’s like when someone describes modern video recording as “taped.”
Say what? The Ray-Ban Meta demo failed because it activated every pair of glasses in the building to run Live AI?
I don’t want to hear that from Meta.
Definitely sounds like that could be misused.

I’d like to go back to the time when social media opened to a feed of our contacts posting in real time. When we didn’t have a For You feed that was the default and only delivered your contacts posts if it determined them to be interesting enough to keep you on the platform.
That time was magical.
