Clever Girl.

A hen perches on the edge of the feed bucket I'm carrying do she can get to the feed first. Below on the ground a bunch of hens waits for me to finish taking the shot, so they'll get fed as well.

Odd indeed. I envy you having edible olives, the few trees we have are determined to produce rather bitter fruit no matter what we do. Do you know how old your ones are? From "memory" they start fruiting at 3-7 years, and don't mature until 10 or so years, and don't stop till after 150 years(!)

The cherry tree has decided it might be a cold and wet spring, but it IS spring and so it's going to be in blossom dammit!

I'll need to walk 30m just to pick up and fill the feed bucket, and another 46m just to get to the coop to feed you all, but please crowd around my feet as if being stepped on only happens to other chickens.
