The Ontario Government is trying to strip out bike lanes we just got finished building and is adding lots of red tape to the process of adding new bike lanes. I got annoyed enough that I wrote, recorded, and animated this protest song in a week. Go call Doug Ford!! youtu.be/Z9vsHzj_-ZU

took a bit but it runs!
- has one bad RAM stick that broke things
- no PRAM battery yet but I don't need the date
- Classic OS9 would start after boot then crash at the end
- Turns out a bad date can do that. Had to stop it from starting on boot so I have a chance to reset the date first

Side note: anyone know a word for like a visual onomatopoeia, where the font matches what the word is saying? That's one of the main uses for something like this, like in the example in the post of the poster for The Fall being long and stretchy like it's falling. "Onomagraph"?

tonight's p5 development update: even though I got self hosted GitHub actions runners working before, it has security issues running arbitrary PR code. Now, it listens for jobs and runs each in a fresh container with a firewall!

the convergence of the CRT in my iMac is starting to become a real problem, but I don't think I trust myself to safely tinker with a CRT :') maybe it's time to look into getting an old desktop from that era...

ok this weekend, more than a month later, im trying again to get webgpu + chrome to work in github actions. this time: will it work if it uses a custom runner that is a linux server with an integrated gpu thats sitting in my apartment??
