If you have not visited Meteor Crater in Arizona, just east of Flagstaff, put it on your bucket list. This crater is the largest and most well preserved meteor crater on earth and well worth a stop.

Well, I had a pretty exciting day yesterday. I grabbed my camera and headed out to the backyard to see who was hanging around the feeder and noticed a woodpecker on one of the trees.

Turned out to be a Red-breasted Sapsucker and a new lifer.
