Happy Steam Next Fest week to all those who celebrate.

Recommend me some demos to check out! I might include it in potential roundups and recommendations.

After spending a full weekend with the live multiplayer options in Battlefield 6, I've published my full scored review.

It's amazing. Incredible. Insert a few more adjectives.

You'll be able to read my full, scored Battlefield 6 review at CBR tomorrow! I wanted to wait until post-launch to assess things against real players to get a proper feel for balance, progression, and so on.

My single player impressions went live last week, linked down below!

It's a BEAUTIFUL game but it has some serious problems design wise 😅 very frustrating to play, especially for a non-gamer like my wife.

My wife and I are starting Bye Sweet Carole, love the art style and music so far

Here's an easy way to get a triple kill in Battlefield 6

Absolum is out and should NOT be slept on.

It's a beat 'em up + roguelike hybrid that's a love letter to classic fantasy games like D&D Shadow Over Mystara.

I interviewed the CEO of @dotemu.bsky.social all about it for GamesBeat!

There are few things in life as simple, pure, and fun as a very good linear action game with great combat that doesn't bog itself down with filler and bloat.

🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌

Good suggestions! Hopefully, Silent Hill 2 gets added next week, like the rumors suggest.

I've got a new weekly column I kicked off at CBR where I'll recommend 3-5 PS Plus for people to check out.

This weekend I've selected Battlefield 2042, Alan Wake 2, and Ghost of Tsushima!

Any recs for me to check out for next Friday?

The Battlefield 6 campaign is far from perfect, but it's got some great moments that have that trademark BF spectacle feeling.

Thank you for your service! I've been fighting this fight as well for a long time and have read and re-read your Polygon stuff on PSO many times :)

You can read my Battlefield 6 campaign review over on CBR!

It's not groundbreaking, but has some really solid moments and a surprisingly endearing cast of characters. I really wasn't a fan of the structure and pacing though.

Battlefield 6 Has a Thrilling Campaign, But It Could Have Been So Much Better
After finishing the Battlefield 6 campaign it's clear that EA crafted a thrilling spectacle of intense missions, but there was so much more potential.

The only reason I can think of is that they would both require a bit of work to remove all of the Vita gimmicks, but the touch pad on the DualSense is a comparable replacement.

IMO, adding Vita to PS+ Classics would be HUGE if they don't want to go the full remake route.

I’m the type of person who knows they have to be up early but still goes to bed late then spends the whole day complaining like it isn’t my own fault.

I'm a freelance contributor at CBR now! I'll be covering all sorts of games mostly with reviews, features, and lists as a Gaming Writer.

Naturally, one of the first things I wrote is a review of a PlayStation Vita launch title 🤣

When I used to stream, one of my viewers became a regular, then became a mod, and then became one of my closest friends. We still haven't met IRL, but we talk daily and know each other's kids and wives at this point.

I used to adjust my schedule for him (he works nights) all the time!

Unit 13 on PS Vita is like that, and I loved that game. It would be the perfect format for a SOCOM revival!
