Yep, I am thinking the Liberals after WW1. Unless Farage does a runner, as he has before, and Reform folds. Also have a look at Futurama season 3 episode 7 they predict and reference Reform.
Keep a weather eye on Huawei’s chip development. Undoubtedly they are aware of Nvidia’s developments is only time before they match or surpass it.
The Conservative Party won’t improve until Badenoch and her associates are removed. Otherwise, they will be in the wilderness for years.
It wasn’t at the last election the economy was and will be at the next.
I understand why the UK military is keen to learn from the Ukrainians. They take the old WW2 mantra “Better is the enemy of good” to a totally new level.
Trump wants the oil. Venezuela has the largest reserves.
Nothing to do with crude oil by chance. Venezuela has the largest reserves; Nigeria’s are modest in comparison.

We’re already making history. Now let’s break a record.

This Sunday, we’re going to knock on the most doors in a single day in New York history.

But only if you sign up: zohranfornyc.com/gotv
@chadbourn.bsky.social he’s successful because he talks only about New York and improving it. The next mayor?
I visited Grand Street Senior Housing on the Lower East Side today and tried a little Bomba y Plena…
It’s potentially big. Though is it a presumption to think that there’s no US control over the launch, and at what?

Peter Watkins gone. He was a hugely important filmmaker. Best known for The War Game but his 1964 Culloden film still influences way history TV is made today. It’s not perfect but it’s amazing and on YouTube as a good print. Watch it in his honour! youtu.be/-1TZq6DfKKA?...

I am surprised it taken them this long to comment. More “grist to the mill” for the Chancellor’s budget.
Excellent explanation and insight into the recent events from @maitlis.bsky.social. Is this another Diana moment?
This doesn’t augur well.
Why did you think we had the distraction against the Chancellor yesterday
Kier Starmer will go before the next election, having sorted the difficult stuff that we all know needs to be done, but we want someone else to do it. Angela will become PM for the election. Then expect sparks as she goes after the Conservatives and Reform, assuming Farage has done a runner.
Watch out for the next dead cat thrown to desperately change the MSM narrative. Mind you he’s running out.
Given that the media will complain about whatever Labour does, they need to consider the old saying, “if you’re going to put the boot in, keep it in.” Alternatively, they might as well be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb. Therefore, they should raise taxes and take decisive action.
The telling comments from PMQs was the new narrative that he can’t be trusted with national defence from Starmer and Davey.
Presumably he’s referring to the Royal Navy and Marine Nationale strategic submarines

For those who have the app, the podcast version of an interview Derek Alexander & l gave at Culloden during recent dig. Includes our interpretation of what we think the team of volunteers and archaeologists found over a week of hard work. Think a shorter version will go out on radio this weekend.

Clearly used the wrong AI
Mark, have a look at Huawei Harmony Os take up it’s massive, the latest version no longer has any Google Android elements. Also, they are working with DeepSeek on an AI chip. It’s a bit bumpy at the moment, but from my experience with Huawei, it will challenge Nvidia soon and will be cheaper.
Consistent with wanting new battleships. Clear doesn’t understand the extra crew requirements necessary to operate steam, which was one of the objectives of dumping it in the first place.

At least he’s not gone back to coal or sail power.
