i know this is a fairly aggressive thing to say but i think it's worth it bc our society trains people to ignore abuse if it's possible to read literally any ambiguity into the evidence.

well yeah, and if you've seen the statistics around how often people abuse others in their power, it would color your thinking too. shitty people abound pretty much everywhere, and it doesn't feel that unusual for a tankie-adj guy to do something like this

for context my priors on this are probably related to the multiple abusers i've had to fight tooth and nail to get people to take as serious threats in my own social circles (including one who openly admits he likes abusing people "as a bit")

if it's the vibration collar thing, i've heard that the collar he displayed looks more like a hastily modified shock collar than the vibration collar from the same company. i've also seen records that he has behaved this way towards his animals in the past
