Konkordiaplatz on Great Aletschgletscher is now snow-free... A bit later than 2022 but earlier than 2023 (year with second-most highest ice loss).
It hurts to see #glaciers entering a summer with massive ice losses again! And no cooling is in sight

Bei Waschmaschinen/Trocknern sehe ich den Vorteil nur in jenem Nischen-Fall, wo der Start dynamisch abhängig von Stromtarif, Strom-CO2-Bilanz oder PV-Produktion durch eine Heim-Automatisierung gestartet wird.

Kaffeemaschine einschalten per App ist grossartig, vor allem bei Boilergeräten die 15min aufheizen müssen. (Dafür reicht aber auch ein ganz normaler Smart Switch, ganz ohne Anbietercloud.)

Der letzte Satz ist ziemlich zynisch. Die vermisste Person ist ein 64jähriger Schafhalter der sich um seine Tiere kümmern wollte. Da wurde wohl schlichtweg ein persönliches Risiko für die Tiere auf sich genommen. Traurigerweise im falschen Moment.
