Casey was let out of the hospital after the events of Scream. Her life after was filled with paranoia and fear to the point of begging her parents to leave Woodsboro, which they argued against, using her would-be killer's deaths to tell her that there's nothing to fear.

A simple Scream AU where Casey Becker didn't cop it at the start and put up a better fight AND managed to get her parent's attention, which saved her life.

After the attack and the few injuries she did obtain, Casey was put in the hospital under police watch. (+)
