In the old Expanded Universe books on the 90s, being able to talk took more resources. So the droids usually didn't bother so they could be better at their other skills.

Have you tried printing a temperature tower? It might help identify some problems that might cause that.
And if it doesn't, my next guess would be that you've got a lose belt causing layer shifting.

I agree, but my point is it's hard to know what the speed limit is for the car. My car thought 40 was the speed limit there. It also balks at going 65 in a 60, technically "illegal", but not actually "too fast".

Yeah, my car is actually quite good about that (it'll dynamically adjust the cruise control speed as the sort limit changes), but even still it gets it wrong sometimes and tries to drop me to 40 on the freeway. Definitely not good enough to have enforced speed governors yet.

One of the only things I've found "AI" useful for is finding the words for subjects I'm unfamiliar with, so I can then do non-AI searches. Like "what is that thing called where...", like a fuzzy dictionary search.

Ever since I started job hunting again, I've been getting way more spam emails. That's not a huge surprise, but what is is that most of them are Russian dating site related.
