Just back from our fantastic Reflection Day on Generosity for Readers + Lay Leaders from across @ncldiocese.bsky.social. What a great time we had in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to those who braved the forecast storms to be with us, and of course St Mary's Church for hosting us

Today's Church of England National Online Service, at the start of our Generosity Week, came from the Parish of Morpeth in @ncldiocese.bsky.social. It’s really worth giving it a watch. And our thanks to the team at Morpeth for all the hard work that went in to it. bit.ly/4gMgNmi

This week, our service is from the Parish of Morpeth in Northumberland and focuses on generosity. Led by Canon Simon White, with a sermon from lay reader Sharon Williams, we'll be thinking about God's generosity towards us and how we can be generous with others. Be sure to tune in and be part of this community of faith, connecting Christians across England and beyond. This Service has BSL interpretation in-vision and has been manually subtitled.

It was great to be part of this. I do recommend Cornerstone platform for Churches in @ncldiocese.bsky.social who want a better handle on their finances - strengths + vulnerabilities, with the amazing library of guided pathways for developing in those areas that Churches choose.

We were delighted to welcome to Church House teams from 16 parishes who gathered to spend time exploring the new Cornerstone platform and decide together on individual pathways to work on in small groups over the coming weeks.
