It even stayed crispy when I reheated it in the microwave later and thats... I've never had that happen. The breading usually gets a LITTLE soggy on other chicken but this... 😩😩😩😩 sorry im still thinking about it

I tried Korean fried chicken last night for the first time and, as someone with the favourite food of an 8 year old child (chicken tenders), it was...no exaggeration...the best fried chicken. I eat chicken everywhere I go. I am that person only ordering chicken tenders. im so serious about this lmao

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Yeah my mom has always been kinda on the outside of my art. She supports it but has no idea what goes into it or how much it means to me. AI is "harmless fun" to her 🙃

Except for when some of my stuff got stolen by AI and sold on tiktok shop LOL She wasnt ok with that but she's also apparently forgotten it already

like if you take away my computer I can still draw on the exact same skill level and it looks like my work.
If you can't do your art without inputting a prompt and pushing a button, well... its not really YOUR art. It's not even on the level of "found" art.

I painted this picture of my aunt and her dog about a month before her dog passed away and now my mom is like "Can you make one for (her brother in law)" and I haven't done it yet bc it takes a lot of time... so today she was like "why dont you just AI it? I'll push the button if you dont want to"

Everytime my mom shows me something "cute" or "funny" on Facebook and its always such a pain to ruin it and point out that is AI
and she gets so like shocked about it everytime until I go through and show her how you can tell its AI.

I miss when I could say something was just photoshopped by people

Idk where everyone lives but where I am, thats about half what you need to live a basic life here lol Anyway, love my family and love to help them wherever I can every day, so its nice to live with them. I'd worry WAY too much about them if I wasn't around since both my parents are in their 70s.

Still, my family is proud of me even though I feel like I barely get by. I make, on a good year, 25k. And if my family wasnt so supportive by letting me live here for cheap then I would have NO chance at being an artist. Im endlessly grateful for their love.

When you make art a career, it's painfully easy to get caught up in the capitalism of it and thinking nothing has worth unless its profitable. I'm really falling victim to it lately to the point where I feel bad doing things that aren't marketable.
