I’ve been reflecting on what it means to live a life of service—not in titles, but in the quiet act of showing up. Even when it costs us. sf.densilporteous.com/blog/

TAKE ACTION: Donald Trump is considering a reckless decision to eliminate the CDC’s HIV Prevention programs—an attack on our public health that would undo decades of progress and cost people their lives.

I deleted it…I just ripped it off like a really worn in band-aid. Now what? We wait…
Life is about getting up and going each and every day. Life is about living to your fullest self. Life is about being the most you that you can be so that others are empowered to be the most them that they can be. Someone who needs to see you is watching. Keep being you! Keep showing up!
Sorry…I know you’re here, you exist…but I forget to come here. Help me be better!! Hiiiiii ❤️

Yesterday, on day 93 before the May 6 primary, we took a major step forward—submitting signatures from across the community to officially place this Independent, people-centered campaign on the ballot. Now, we await the next step.

Hi…hello…how are you!? ❤️
“During this evenings Columbus City Council meeting I was not selected to serve as the interim representative for District 7, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Columbus City Council for the opportunity to participate in this process.” ccc.densilporteous.com/the-drive-to...
secure.actblue.com/donate/densi... "Today marks 100 days until the May 6 primary—a critical milestone in our journey to bring inclusive, future thinking, community-centered leadership to Columbus City Council, District 7."
Hi…hello…good morning!
I put you in the place I would see you most so I could get use to seeing you…but habit pulled me elsewhere. But…I’m here now!!!

Morning! 🌞
Breaking a habit (like X) is like getting over a lover—it can be hard. The less you rely on that old love/habit the easier it is to stop/leave. Please help me get over my ex love by coming my next love… Bluesky can you hear me? 👀❤️🕺🏾
Hi hello good morning! 🌞
We also mourned the loss of a powerhouse, Cecile Richards, whose lifelong dedication to reproductive rights and social justice set a profound example of courage and resilience.
We marked Inauguration Day, a pivotal moment that always brings both hope and apprehension for the future of our country. We celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a time to reflect on the enduring legacy of a man whose vision of equity and justice continues to challenge and inspire us.
This week has been a mix of emotions—a solemn one for some, a joyful one for others, and, for many of us, a reminder of the complexity of the world in which we live.
Oh, and I got my new passport—a small, yet deeply symbolic reminder of the freedom to move forward, to explore, and to embrace what lies ahead.

This week was full—and, yes, I survived.
I’m reminded that our lives are shaped not only by the challenges we face but also by the actions we take. This week, we experienced glimpses of joy, moments of mourning, and countless opportunities for growth. We celebrated and grieved, debated and reflected—and many of us kept moving.
Let us hold on to our resilience and remember the obligation we have to make this world better for everyone. I truly believe it’s an obligation. And we must remember to keep showing up, even when it’s hard, because the work we do matters—not just for those beside us but for those who come after us.
