It was Super Nintendo. The NES was just Nintendo until the SNES came out, then the NES was regular or "old" Nintendo.

I grew up in Alabama. I'm not sure if this was a regional thing like how we called all soda "Coke" or if all in the US say Super Nintendo.

Seems we have forgotten how much of a failure and a threat to democracy George W Bush was during his time as president. No WMDs found in Iraq, stuck in Afghanistan for 20 years, the PATRIOT Act, spying on citizens, the FALCON raids, the Halliburton camps leading to fears of mass arrests, etc.
