And he'll tell you where to find the best Jersey Mike's in Virginia. All that and more in the next Silver Bulletin.
Meh they would have won 3-0 without it
Even so, you'd have to think the odds of two safties to be much less than 2.15%
Once defense scores the game is overigami
Nobody is denying that. But a lot of that is also due to the regression in the team that followed. The Aaron Boone HR is a lot less painful for Red Sox fans in retrospect because they won the WS the very next year.
Sure, and it hurt, but nothing in between the 1st and 9th. It wasn't inning after inning of missed chances like the Jays.
No doubt, but this team had a real chemistry that will be tough to duplicate
OK I lived those too. But neither really compared to this game. Calgary game was a pedestrian loss. And in 81 the Expos offense did nothing all game, while Jays had chances to add runs in almost every inning, and also had a late lead, so that makes it hurt more.
Sports can be fickle. Who knows if the Jays will make it back given the roster changes bound to happen. They really caught lightning in a bottle this year. Time will tell.
The events of that game leading to a Dodgers win was highly improbable. They really thread a camel through the eye of a needle.
Elam ending is the only answer
Heartbreaking! But a game that those of us who were there will tell our grandkids about
It must be tough for MAGAts to choose between California and Canada
It doesn't matter if it's 3-1 or 3-2 because in the 9th inning the only thing that matters is where is the tying run. (In the 8th inning it would be a different story)
Saved nothing. If the ball had bounced back off the wall Dean would have played it and the tying run still would have been at 2nd.
Will you have them again before game 7?
Ohtani starts, Glasgow middle, Yamamoto closes
It's part of the local ground rules.
Irrelevant. Straw's run was meaningless. Barger was the one who mattered.
WTF would an accused murderer expect to be asked about? Baking tips?

Hi Mike! I just listened to the Reshmi Nair episode and it occurred to me: You should moderate a discussion/debate between Reshmi and Jack Berkovits about Israel/Palestine, since they're both FOTM. Bring on the real talk!
