I post a lot of Izzy but tonight Sadie was looking especially comfy.

Did I put my head on her...maybe 🤔

Was she pissed off...oh yes indeed

Yeah I think you are right. I was thinking of offering some affordable housing 😜

Kind of. I learned AutoCAD in the 90s and todays software is very different (parametric based). I do want to try sculpting software (Nomad or Blender for example) but I suck at being creative. I am good at solving problems but not creating new organic things. 😂

I am really just getting going now that I am funemployed and have more free time. I am working on getting better at 3D modelling. I suspect I will start using more supplies as things ramp up.

Thank you. I had the thought last night as I was falling asleep 😀
It is hollow already. I think I made it too big. I think I will try a smaller (less bricks) version and see what is required.

For those that are interested here is the block break down with weights in grams (see pic). According to the Lego software it would cost me $1150 CAD to buy from Lego. 3D printing the parts $20/Kg would be approx $221 based on a total weight of 11.06 Kg

Hard to say. Each roll of filament is in the 20 to 30 dollar range depending on what it is. I have bought about 8 rolls (I also got given some as well). I have bought various tools to support the printer. I would guess about 400 dollars on top of the cost of the printer.

Maybe a smaller version. I would be all winter just printing that many parts.

I might try a smaller version of the model (less bricks and therefore lower resolution).

I really like the idea of creating my own Lego model and making all the parts.

I decided to hell with the shoulder and send it. I may regret it tomorrow morning but so far so good.

I had the great idea to create a custom Lego model of the Peggy's Cove lighthouse. I found a 3D model, converted to it to Lego blocks and generated a parts list. My plan was to 3D print all the blocks.

Total block count - 5511 🤯 (instructions 1139 pages)

I don't think this is such a good idea.

Was this dinner table talk because I approve. These are the questions mainstream media just does not track down 😆

That is great.

My COVID arm is a little sore tonight. Hopefully this is as bad as it gets.

I tried to tell the pharmacist that I wanted it all in one go and in one arm but they were not having it.

"Mr. Field you might die" (they did not say this but that is what went through my head)

Maybe you will get a super power?

Congratulations.

You deserve it. Nothing but awesome posts.

The pharmacist only asked which vaccine I wanted in which arm.

Let me know how you make out tough guy

That is great. I was impressed with how quick and efficient it was

I love stormy weather (as long as it is not wrecking stuff)

Either you are too high to pick any other emoji or you really are thinking very hard on the matter 😉
