Congratulations to the Revd Fiona (Fee) Reynolds, whom I ordained as a priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church on Saturday. Fee is curate at St Ninian’s, Comely Bank, and the @dioceseofedinburgh.bsky.social's Advisor for Christian Life. Let us wish Fee all the very best. Do hold her in your prayers.

We will soon move to new premises in Edinburgh.

The main Scottish Episcopal Church office will vacate Forbes House while the building's future is addressed due to maintenance and operational issues.

As we are Forbes House tenants, we must seek new premises too.

🌳 It's all go at St Andrew's, Kelso!

They recently joined Kelso Churches Together at a town-centre outreach stand, while twenty-four people attended a Bible Study this month.

Part of the garden at St Andrew's is also being extended, while the church has just run a plant sale!

❓ Which is your local church?

Perhaps it's St Columba's, Bathgate, in West Lothian.

It's a place of prayer, beauty, calm, love and community.

😌 Many churches offer space for prayer, reflection and community during the week.

🙏 That includes St Peter's Church, #Linlithgow – anyone can come to their Said Eucharist on Tuesdays at 10.30am, which lasts 30 mins.

🐶 They always have coffee and cake afterwards. And dogs are welcome too!

😌 Looking for space to reflect?

Taizé services – characterised by simple, repeated songs, silence, prayers and contemplative readings – can be perfect.

🎵 There's music all across our diocese!

It can teach us – something explored by the Revd Oliver Brewer-Lennon in a recent podcast (link in bio).

And it can bring us to prayer – whether in church, via live-stream or on Spotify!

🙏 There are many ways to pray, and anyone can do it, anywhere.

Why not discover a new method with our new 'Ways to Pray: A to Z' page?

Many of them are explored in a dynamic new resource from St James-the-Less, Penicuik, and St Mungo's, West Linton.
