What is the Access to Elected Office Fund Wales?

The fund supports disabled people seeking elected office in Wales.
It helps remove access barriers for disabled candidates in the 2026 Senedd and 2027 Local elections.
Disabled people can apply for financial assistance to cover impairment-related costs.

What can the fund pay for?

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend and former colleague Becky Newsome after a courageous battle with cancer.

Becky was a fierce advocate for disabled people’s rights. Her warmth, humour and dedication won't be forgotten.
