I also just don't like the 'Looking for Moots' culture around intro posts, which is why I haven't bothered making one. Interacting and posting about stuff I'm interested in (*when I'm able to do so*) is more reasonable to me than just barfing out a list and expecting everyone to take my word for it.

I'll be honest, it feels surreal being lumped in with the talented works of animators, essayists, and even cooks - I'm way outclassed here in terms of raw talent and passion.

The nominations are a black box honestly. I can see what they were trying for with the categories, but it does feel weird having my video be on the same shelf as the animators. The category definition includes 'funny edits,' but I have a splash of legitimate strategy talk in there too. I dunno.

I've had a pretty busy October, and my numbers have gone up, but to make it truly sustainable, it'd help to have something more in line with my level of education. I've still been filling out apps in between projects, but in the offchance someone here has something for me, I'm still looking.

It's also on the pinned comment of my RA & Endfield video, but TL;DR for Bsky character limit:
- Tobo's misconduct is now off-putting to me even if I agree with some points
- I still stand by what I said but my stances are more mellow for several reasons
- We still have to wait to play it ourselves

I did say I wasn't going to make any more videos on Endfield, but I've been unable to escape hearing about the discourse dragging on. It's dragged on long enough to the point where I've thought about it enough to write some new thoughts, so I wrote it all down to get it off my chest.

You're not doing much better either, YouTube. I don't think neutering goodwill by slamming the audience with mid-rolls will result in more revenue long-term.

An Ideas for you panel in YouTube Studio that reads:
Earn 18-27% more with mid-rolls
Turning on mid-rolls for "The RA Early Game Is EASIER Than Ever!" could increase the video's earnings
There is also a button to update ad settings.

Re: dialogue - I get that having multiple villagers with the same personality repeat dialogue is pretty bad, but I'm not gonna act like the mean GameCube villagers were Shakespeare either. Being a grown-up means we can spot this and be grumbly about it easier, and I ain't buying nostalgia glasses.

Current oversimplified thoughts about Animal Crossing:
- Customization is as good as it gets and that's great
- Dialogue/life sim potential left on the table but I don't think it's that much worse than other titles
- Deep Cut out here getting robbed in their cameo just as badly as in S3's story jeez
