Almost done with the demo.

Ran into a problem. The shower panels mount on bare studs. My back wall is an outside wall.

So there was tile on ⅝" Green board. The Green board was screwed and glued to the ⅝" Fireproof drywall that is nailed to the inside panel of the outer wall.

Because it is an outer wall of our 'Condo', no changes can be made to outer walls because they're firewalls. HOA has to be involved, outside contractors and aggravation.

So I will contact the manufacturer to see if I can flat mount the back section. If not, I'll add shim stock to create a 2x4.🤞🏻
