Folks, please don't use AI. 1) AI steals to make "your" content. 2) AI is already negatively impacting creatives. 3) AI requires A LOT of power that would be better directed elsewhere.

I will immediately unfollow anyone using AI. Hopefully others will do the same.

3 assignments left: my hand, someone from memory, and the corner of a room.

Theory is at the end of the book/course (I'm treating it like a course), I'll do them again and my work will have improved. Examples in the book were only days apart and wow.

I was thinking a chapter a week. We'll see.

I'm still finalizing lines. But I layer my drawings: start with really light pencil and basics then build to the final piece. On the 2nd "layer" adjusting the original lines, deepening them a bit before I go into details.

This is no surprise. This is how I write novels too.

The Right Brain book has an assignment for a self portrait. I'm supposed to use a mirror, but I don't have one I can set up properly, so I'm using this photo. When I do the self portrait at the end of the course, I'll use the same photo. 😁
