since it’s wip wednesday AND kagehina day have this!!! they’re evolving!! (the pining is only getting worse tho) #kagehina

They get to the gym a bit early for warmups, and while Hinata isn't running to the bathroom, so it must not be /that/ bad, he is pale and a bit shaky. He's muttering under his breath, and Kageyama can feel his eye twitching at the nonsense spilling out of his mouth.

"Hey," Kageyama snaps at him, and Hinata jumps in place like Kageyama hasn't been at his side the whole time they've been changing their shoes. Kageyama narrows his eyes at him. "What's wrong with you?"

Hinata glares at him. "I don't know! But you being mean won't help!" He huffs and stands up in a burst of movement, and Kageyama considers his tensed shoulders and thinks of how loose they are when
Kageyama's hugging him.

Kageyama blinks, Hinata's relaxed form and smiles when they hug coming to mind, the happy sighs and murmurs. It's basically the opposite of Hinata now -And Kageyama stands up before Hinata can stomp away.

"Hey." Kageyama says, and Hinata glances over his shoulder at him. Kageyama frowns thoughtfully, “Would a. .. hug help?"

There's something awkward about asking in this situation, but Kageyama waves that off easily. Hinata's glare melts to wide-eyed surprise, and then he's frowning too, considering.

"Yeah, I think, maybe." Hinata agrees, and Kageyama nods seriously, then grabs his wrist and drags him off the court. Hinata squawks in surprise, but even as they gain the attention of their team and coach, no one tries to stop them. With warmups not started yet, Kageyama knows they have a few minutes until someone is sent to track them down.
